James Apicella
James Apicella - Former Marine and Sales Professional
James Apicella is a Marine Corps veteran. From 1999 to 2005, he was a squad leader in the assault section of the United States Marine Corps. This section of the Marine Corps routinely makes use of anti-personnel obstacle breaching systems and rockets. As squad leader, James Apicella was responsible for providing rocket fire support to rifle squads, platoons, and other companies in the infantry battalion.
In 2003 and 2004, he was deployed to Japan and the Philippines to support Operation Enduring Freedom. During this period, he obtained a leave of absence from school. In 2005, he earned a bachelor of science in criminal justice from Southern Vermont College.
Mr. Apicella was also a community volunteer through the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program. In this role, he collected toys for children and attended events in uniform in support of the drive.
Mr. Apicella is currently a sales consultant with the residential solar company Surun. In this role, he develops sales strategies, leads, and provides in-home presentations to potential customers.
